VIP3000 member assembly and board elections

The members of the VIP3000 (Verein Interessengemeinschaft Pharmabau 3000 e.V.) gathered at Trox GmbH in Neukirchen-Vluyn for their autumn meeting on September 19th and 20th. In addition to exciting presentations, various internal topics and a company tour of Trox, electing the board for the upcoming term was also on the agenda.

Ralf Gengenbach, founder and Managing Director of gempex GmbH, was re-elected as president for another three years with a clear majority and no dissenting vote – along with the existing director. Newly elected was Katrin Mützel, who will assist the incumbent treasurer in the finance field.

The VIP3000 bundles ideas and visions in conjunctions with the topic of cleanrooms and pharmaceuticals in a unique form. Leading companies and research institutes of the German-speaking pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries, their suppliers as well as planners and universities are involved in the VIP3000.

Together the around 60 members form a quality network with the aim of promoting all technologies for the planning and implementation of modern pharmaceutical production facilities and associated specialist areas, publishing new findings and their application, and supporting their practical implementation. The focus is on the fields of pharmaceutical process engineering, building services engineering and the construction of production buildings suitable for pharmaceuticals.

In the coming year the VIP3000 is celebrating its 25-year anniversary. Visits to CMR in Dublin and Siemens in Basel are on the agenda.


The association’s member assembly was held at Trox GmbH, a company that is known today in particular for its complete ventilation engineering solutions and is represented in more than 70 countries with 3,700 employees and sales in excess of EUR 400 million.
