South China Normal University and the Guangdong Pharmaceutical Association jointly have established the SCNU-Innovation Center in Guangzhou, China. The target is to promote the collaboration between university and industry and to build up a platform for mutual exchange and networking.
gempex CEO Ralf Gengenbach has been invited to support the innovation center as GMP-expert and to support the planning meeting on March 3. As a graduate tutor and part-time professor of SCNU, Ralf Gengenbach is also a member of Guangdong Pharmaceutical Association.
“gempex has been active not only in various industrial associations, but in academic exchange.” Ralf Gengenbach mentioned, “In this way, we can keep gempex updated with the latest trends and knowledge from the academic environment.” gempex is always willing to assist university students in their academic work and is prepared to provide rich practical experience , from both China and the western world.
This is the first time that gempex establishes close relationship to a Chinese University. gempex in Germany cooperates with the Mannheim University, offering scholarships to students in the Department of Biotechnology. Additionaly, gempex is a permanent member of the Biotechnology Advisory Board as well as member of the Association of Friends of the Mannheim University.
