For the production of the newly developed tattoo inks at the V.D. Ledermann's Bautzen site, an existing quality assurance system had to be expanded in order to implement the requirements of Cosmetics GMP and to prepare it for certification. A certified quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 22716, Cosmetics GMP, is intended to guarantee the consistently safe product standard.
Consulting and support were provided for the preparation of qualification and
validation documents. Templates for the qualification of facilities and rooms as well as for the validation of cleaning processes were developed. Qualifications, evaluations and reports on the validations carried out were prepared. After the transfer of the GMP system into routine operation by the customer, a workshop was designed to train new colleagues for ISO 22716 and to accompany the production in routine.
In partnership with the customer's team, the interesting task was accompanied trustfully and flexibly in development and production.

Having successfully completed ISO 22716 certification, edding has opened the first tattoo studio in Hamburg to work exclusively with the new and EU-compliant edding tattoo inks from V.D. Ledermann. The scope of this quality commitment is unique in the tattoo sector throughout Germany.
