Experts Dialogue: "The Perfect Pharmaceuticals Project"

The “Verein Interessengemeinschaft Pharmabau 3000 e.V.”, known as the VIP3000, was founded in 1995 as an association of renowned companies in the pharmaceutical industry service provider and supplier segments with a focus on construction for the pharmaceuticals industry. gempex GmbH has been a member of the VIP3000 for many years and Ralf Gengenbach, Managing Director of gempex, has served as the association’s president since 2013. With a total of around 60 members today, the association’s objective is to intensively promote the development and expansion of an expert network to accumulate knowledge, generate new knowledge and insights in cooperation with universities and institutes, and consistently represent the state of the art.

Now the association is bringing planners, engineers, outfitters and users in the field of construction for the pharmaceutical industry to the table in Hamburg under the motto “The perfect pharmaceuticals project”. Various topics will be in focus, ranging from the tender offer to planning, project control and project execution to automation, qualification and operation. A total of seven workshops will illuminate the key problems that are relevant for the pharmaceuticals industry in the context of new construction projects. Items up for discussion include time delays, budget overruns, quality problems, elaborate qualifications, excessively complex realisation models, unrealistic expectations regarding automation and the lack of specialists.

The event focuses on dialogue and the exchange between experts, learning from the best and hearing how others solve comparable problems. It expands the knowledge network as people dealing with similar issues get to know each other.

The workshops are being moderated by representatives of renowned companies in the industry, who are contributing their extensive experience with exactly such projects to the discussion and working out the respective focus topics together with the participants.
