The 20th Pharma Congress on 24-25 April 2018 in Düsseldorf once again attracted decision makers in the pharmaceuticals industry. Packed lecture halls bore witness to the great interest in the more than 50 speakers from notable companies, public authorities and universities talking about practical approaches to solving problems in a variety of areas.
In focus: the effects of the first draft of the new EU GMP Guideline Annex 1 (published for comment at the end of 2017), part of gempex’s area of expertise. What are the consequences of restructuring Annex 1 and the addition of new topics, such as new regulatory developments in quality risk management, for production companies? Questions like these placed the topic firmly at the centre of shared interest. When it comes to regulatory developments in quality and their effects for production companies, the GMP experts at gempex are the contacts of choice and were represented as such at the event.
This year gempex sponsored the WLAN in the convention rooms during the accompanying Pharma Technica trade show, and promoted the FIFA World Cup at its own exhibition stand number 36 to boot. Those with the right knack who spun the wheel so it landed on first prize went home with a gempex football. Not only are the GMP experts ready to answer all questions related to regulatory requirements in production and technology for the pharmaceuticals industry, they are always ready for fun too.
